Effective instructional design requires alignment between the objectives, assessments, and activities. The Performance Management Workshop was designed based on the work of William Horton's A-D-C Model -- Absorb-Do-Connect (Horton, 2011). Each objective must lead to the overall goal of the workshop. The alignment chart provides an overview of the five components (objectives, assessments, absorb activities, do activities, and connect activities) as a roadmap to the design of the course.
